Vaiado por torcedores no último sábado, quando foi um dos piores em campo durante a vitória no sufoco por 2 a 1 sobre o Mirassol, o capitão Alessandro se recuperou e teve uma ótima atuação diante do Guaratinguetá, na noite desta quarta-feira. Marcou, inclusive, o segundo gol, no triunfo por 2 a 0 na região do Vale do Paraíba.
O primeiro a balançar a rede foi seu amigo Chicão. Ambos figuram no grupo dos mais antigos dentro do elenco alvinegro – estão no clube desde o início de 2008, quando chegaram para disputar a Série B.
“Foi a vitória dos velhinhos”, sorriu Alessandro. “O Chicão também deu a sua parcela, é um jogador muito importante para o clube. A equipe teve uma característica coletiva para saírem os gols”, completou, em entrevista à Rádio Estadão/ESPN.
Foi o quarto gol do camisa 2 pelo Timão. “Você não tem ideia do quanto é importante fazer gol com essa camiseta. Ainda estou devendo um. Pelas minhas estatísticas quero fazer um gol por ano. Até agora são quatro em cinco anos. Quem sabe faço mais, a gente vai ficando velhinho, mas vai melhorando às vezes”, comentou.
Na verdade, existe aí uma controvérsia. Diante do Linense, no Paulistão do ano passado, Alessandro cruzou e o zagueiro Bruno Quadros marcou contra. O site do Corinthians registrou como gol do lateral alvinegro, ou seja, ele tem cinco por esse critério.
