Uma larga cruz roxa, com desenhos tribais, sobre uma camisa preta. O Corinthians inovou, e muito, na terceira versão do seu uniforme roxo. O clube apresentou o novo modelo no início da tarde desta segunda-feira, no Parque São Jorge. Patrocinado pela fornecedora de material esportivo, o lateral-direito Alessandro foi o escolhido como o garoto propaganda do evento.
Além da larga cruz roxa no peito, o novo uniforme tem detalhes em dourado em todas as estampas dos patrocinadores. Mais que isso, o símbolo do Corinthians, como os remos e a âncora, é desenhado em tom dourado no lugar da tradicional cor vermelha.
A parte de trás da camisa é totalmente preta, assim como o calção. Apenas o meião tem o roxo: uma pequena faixa com desenhos tribais na nova cor adotada pelo Corinthians.
O roxo, inclusive, é alvo de muitas críticas por parte da torcida. Desde o primeiro modelo, lançado em 2008, parte dos torcedores se posicionou contra a essa cor no terceiro uniforme. Outra parcela, porém, aprovou a iniciativa. É comum ver camisas roxas no Pacaembu nos jogos da equipe comandada por Mano Menezes.
“Os detalhes roxos são bem menores nessa camisa, ela não é toda roxa. A gente entende o torcedor, que se baseia muito na história e na tradição do clube, mas é importante variar um pouco. Nas vezes em que jogamos com o roxo fomos bem. A cor não mudará nossa vontade”, comentou Alessandro.
Devido à insatisfação de parte da torcida, principalmente das organizadas, o Corinthians evita usar a camisa roxa nos jogos em casa. E o mesmo deve acontecer com o novo modelo: será utilizado poucas vezes e preferencialmente longe do Pacaembu.
Segundo o Corinthians, a cruz foi inspirada em São Jorge, padroeiro alvinegro. “Ele representa muito para o clube e temos que buscar inspiração em São Jorge, por ser um guerreiro. A gente sempre busca essa ideia de ser um guerreiro em campo”, completou Alessandro.
